TRYOUT PURPOSE & OVERVIEW

The Kings International All-Stars Tryout is a live, in-person evaluation event for athletes seeking international football opportunities and recruitment exposure in the United States.

Athletes are evaluated by the Kings coaching staff for immediate roster selection to one of two pathways:

• Kings All-Star Bowl (Miami, Florida) – December 2026

• Elite International Showcase (Dallas, Texas) – April 2027

• This tryout guarantees an in-person evaluation, removing the uncertainty of highlight-only recruitment.

 

ELIGIBILITY

• Ages 14–20

• Athletes must not turn 21 before April 2027

• Competitive athletes seeking evaluation, exposure, and international experience

 

PATHWAYS EXPLAINED

Miami – Kings All-Star Bowl

• International competition against a team of American All-Stars

• U.S.-based football experience

• Opportunities to learn from multiple college coaches while in Miami

• Recruitment outcomes depend on individual performance and initiative

 

Dallas – Elite International Showcase 

• 6 months in the Kings recruitment pipeline

• Active promotion to college coaches

• Game film shared directly with recruiting coaches

• College campus visits and coach interactions when possible

• Continued recruitment support before and after the event

• Highly selective pathway

 

EVALUATION PHILOSOPHY

Evaluation priorities:

1. Athleticism (speed, explosiveness, movement quality)

2. Competitive mindset (effort, toughness, response to pressure)

3. Coachability (listening, adjusting, attitude)

4. Physical size / frame (projection-based)

5. Football skill / technique (considered teachable)

Non-negotiable red flags:

• Lack of effort

• Lack of toughness

• Avoiding competition

• Shutting down after adversity

What the Kings system develops:

• Recruitment knowledge

• Exposure to college coaches

• Understanding of the U.S. football landscape

What must already exist:

• Motivated and competitive mindset

• Willingness to be coached

• Willingness to compete in unfamiliar environments

 

ATHLETE EXPERIENCE STANDARD

Atmosphere:

• Competitive

• High tempo

• Purpose-driven

• This is a tryout, not a camp

Coaching:

• Active coaching and feedback during reps

• Athletes are evaluated on how they respond to coaching

 

SELECTION OUTCOMES

Athletes will be placed into one of three categories:

• Dallas Roster

• Miami Roster

• Waitlist

Decisions are communicated within 14 days after the tryout.

Waitlist definition:

• Athlete does not currently fit immediate roster needs

• May be contacted later if a spot becomes available

• Not a negative judgment of overall potential

 

COLLEGE COACH EXPOSURE

• Expected attendance of 2–3 college coaches (not guaranteed)

• Additional college coaches receive player information and film after the tryout

• Media coverage through Kings platforms

• Optional media and film packages available for purchase

No scholarships or offers are guaranteed.

 

TRYOUT FEES & WHAT’S INCLUDED

Tryout fee options:

• €600 – Tryout only

• €750 – Tryout + shared hotel room

• Shared hotel room may also be purchased separately for €150

• Pay in full

• €300 non-refundable deposit (remaining balance due later)

What the tryout fee includes:

• Participation in the Kings International All-Stars Tryout

• Live, in-person evaluation by Kings coaching staff

• Lunch provided during tryout days

• Kings practice jersey

• Event staffing, operations, and facilities

No walk-up registrations are allowed.

 

REGISTRATION RULES

• Registration is required in advance

• No walk-ups

• Payment is required to confirm participation

 

WAIVER POLICY

• Waivers are required for all participants

• Athletes under 18 must bring a physically signed waiver from a parent or guardian

• Athletes without a completed waiver will not be allowed to participate

• No exceptions
