Karol Urbaniak is an athletically gifted linebacker with the strength, speed, and instincts to impact the game in multiple ways. At 6’1”, 215 pounds, he may be slightly undersized compared to traditional inside linebacker measurements, but his physical strength and explosive play style allow him to play much bigger than his frame.

Karol is strong, fast, and violent when attacking the football. His combination of speed and power creates real force on contact, making his closing speed something opponents must account for. When he triggers downhill, he brings the type of velocity that can change the momentum of a play.

One of Karol’s best traits is his ability to locate the football. He shows natural instincts in both the run game and passing situations, consistently putting himself in position to make plays. He can diagnose run action, pursue sideline to sideline, and find the ball through traffic.

Karol also brings valuable versatility. He has the ability to blitz and pressure the quarterback, but he is also comfortable dropping into coverage and making plays on the ball in the air. That skill set gives defensive coordinators flexibility and allows him to stay on the field in different packages.

At the college level, Karol projects well as an outside linebacker, where his athleticism, blitz ability, coverage skills, and pursuit speed can be consistently featured. At a smaller-level program, he also has the tools to remain in the middle and be a difference maker without any drop-off in impact.

Karol is one of the more college-ready defensive prospects in this group. He brings a strong combination of physicality, instincts, and versatility, and he has the ability to help a program as soon as he steps on campus.
